Georgia-based Flight Display Systems lately confirmed the delivery and installation of its new Cabin Management System called Select CMS in a “Flying Theater” configuration on a Gulfstream III aircraft. New York-based International Jet Interiors did the installation. The Gulfstream III is being reported to be owned by some anonymous Hollywood movie producer and director who will use the entertainment system to screen films and review his productions during the flights.

The new CMS from Flight Display Systems includes a 42-inch widescreen HD LCD monitor, the largest LCD monitor ever installed in a Gulfstream aircraft. Multiple Blu-ray disc players and satellite TV channels enrich the owner with hours of non-stop entertainment. Eric Roth, President of International Jet Interiors, said…

The owner loves it. The look on his face when he sat down and started to use the system was pure excitement.

Other unique features include three separate zones with cabin lighting, attendant call functions and electronic window shades that are controlled by the Select CMS. Moreover, there are iPod Docking Stations, auxiliary input ports for computer video, 20-inch HD and 10.2-inch personal LCD monitors to enhance the overall in-flight experience.
