Avant garde, but oddly classic – this is the new Angular Momentum Classic Baton Diamond. It comes in two dial colors, with their a silver or ruthenium dial. The dial has a “crater” shape to it that make it like a bowl. With the applied baton hour indexes on the periphery of the dial. Nicely legible, the dial still has a unique quality to it, but that may have more to do with the case and its uni-structure lugs.

On both styles a diamond is placed above the 6 o’clock hour marker. A small suggestions as to the luxury status of the watch. Angular Momentum watches have always had a unique hand crafted feel that is unique among many Swiss watch makers. Inside the watches are Swiss manually wound movements. The cases are 39mm wide in steel, with sapphire crystals and a tasteful onyx cabochon in the crown.

The images of the Classic Baton Diamond watches here show them in black and white – which they are. The pieces feel like something out of the silver screen days and old Hollywood. I don’t think that their black & white (which shades of grade) color scheme is an accident. Overall another appreciated and interesting piece from Swiss Angular Momentum.
