Anastassia Elias, an 33-year-old artist from Paris, France uses cardboard rolls as frames to fit detailed models inside. Paper the same color as the used toilet rolls is used to build up the intricate pictures of people.
Anastassia said that the imagery of his work come from looking people around him going about their everyday life, such as a winter scene with a child building a snowman, a woman taking clothes down from a washing line, a school classroom scene, a busy market scene and a model of a grandmother sitting in a living room with a cat. When light is shined through the roll from one end, the models come alive.
The artist sometimes uses recycled materials and find new things to do with them.
